
Everyone knows that the Japan Days festival is not only about great performances, educational workshops, lectures and delicious food. An integral part of the event is a large sales zone, which every year offers goods brought directly from various corners of Japan or inspired by Japan. This year will be no different. In addition, new faces have joined our sales team.
So what can you look forward to on both days of the festival?
Small jewelry, pendants, hair ornaments and other items can be found at the stands:
Mizuhiki – sale of small gift items made in the traditional Japanese way from special paper straws
Gifts at the Crane - Gift Shop - Origami earrings, pendants, rings, pocket mirrors and other handmade items
Ayu handcraft - sale of jewelry and hair ornaments made with the Japanese technique of kanzashi - folding leaves from textiles
Author's work in the form of ceramics, porcelain, glass, textiles or illustrations will be brought and presented by:
Ha-na-mi – painted Czech porcelain, practical textile products, elegant jewelry with a touch of Japan, walk-through painting workshop on selected objects right at the stand
Sumi-e – paintings and small objects painted with traditional Japanese ink painting
NeoBara - sale of author's illustrations with a Japanese theme
Prague amiami – handmade design accessories and items from Japan
Žako - handmade items from Japan
Netsuke – a demonstration of the production of traditional Japanese buttons by Mirek Makovicka and engravings by pupils of SPŠS and Voš Sokolská
Replicas of Japanese swords, designer knives and other goods of this kind will bring:
Dachsknives - production of hand-forged replicas of Japanese knives, production of knives with a fixed blade, folding knives
Non-traditional bonsai will be brought and exhibited for the first time this year by a stand:
Wiredup – non-traditional bonsai, of various sizes and shapes, made of colored aluminum wires
There will be Japanese lampshades, Japanese garden tools and an abundance of gift and art objects:
Niwa - forged garden tools imported directly from Japanese master blacksmiths
Viabona - handmade lampshades inspired by the Japanese art of shoji and kumiko
Japandárek – gift and stationery goods imported from Japan
Calligraphy - sale of calligraphy supplies
We are expanding our offer to include food and Japanese tea:
Nagomi tea - Japanese teas, ceramics and other accessories for preparing and drinking Japanese teas, tea tasting
Tydle Noodle - selling original Japanese noodles
Japanese rice - sale of original Japanese rice from important Japanese farmers, Japanese snacks
Matcha Tea - sale of first-class Japanese Matcha
Kojibakers – miso pastes, instant miso soups, vinegars made in the Czech Republic, the Japanese way
Miohi - Japanese sweets and drinks
Honza Zlámaný – mixed drinks (tea mixology)

Kavka Book - publishing house - sale of books about Japan, its traditional aesthetics, culture and craftsmanship
Crew - publishing house - sale of manga and books with a Japanese theme
A large part will be occupied by stands that will be appreciated by all lovers of anime, manga and cosplay:
Animeworld - anime figurines, wallscrolls, posters, pillows, t-shirts and other items from the world of Anime and otaku
Animerch - sale of anime-themed items - t-shirts, mugs, collectible figures and much more
Animecraft - sale of anime figures, plushies, manga and small gift items from the world of anime
We also include the original Japanese board game and models:
4Kavky – board games with a Japanese theme and retro games, the possibility to try out selected games
Ondřej Vítovec – exhibition of Japanese plastic models
The selection of goods will be really large and often exceptional. The sales area will be located throughout the building on all floors of DK Akord and will be accessible throughout the duration of the festival. Don't hesitate to visit individual sellers, you will certainly learn interesting information from many of them and you will certainly find exactly what will make you happy among them.
The stands will be equipped with payment terminals.
